Videogames: An Art Expression of the XXIst Century

When we speak about video games, most part of the people says that it’s only a 
hobby, an illusion for a younger time. But, for me, it’s one of the most interestings 
ways to express the art, it’s just like the beginning of cinema.

It’s a misunderstood art, full of prejudices because it’s was made for fun objective: 
the entertainment industry, even so, it’s a powerful way to learn things and develop 
skills for the future. It’s one of the most important ways to tell a story, a story we can 
do in complicity with the creator, because they give us the space to play and learn.

The best way to example this last point, it’s that we have a lot of choices of what 
video game genre we can play, just like the amateurs learn see the sculpture of the 
master that they love or admire, we can learn about history with games just like 
Age of Empires, learn about how many ways we have to shoot a gun with the Call of Duty, 
try to save the last members of the humanity with The Walking Dead or learn about the 
dangers of the immigration in case of war with Papers Please!.

The World give us the video games to express our emotions, just like the cinema, 
the painting or the music, even the video games have one of the most iconic and 
recognizable themes of all time: The Mario Theme write by Koji Kondo.

So the video games are an art, just we need to give the chance to show the best of it, 
maybe, can surprise you.
