Post 7 (27-11) The Unplayable Derby

A few days ago, in Argentina, Boca Juniors and River Plate decided the fate of the CONMEBOL
Libertadores football Cup, and one of them supposed to win that match and the trophy.
The last sentences didn't happen, because when the bus with the team that usually use the blue
jersey with a yellow line on their chest, was attacked for the people that who believe that loved the
white jersey with the “red blood” band with madness.

I choose this subject because the aggression of the hooligans from River, give us one of the
most sadly moments in the history of the sudamerican football, and remember us that this is
a near reality here in Chile. On December 6th of 2015, we have an event with similar characteristics
on a match of Colo-Colo and Santiago Wanderers.

Just like the argentinian people, we have again one kind of people in the spotlight: The Hooligans.
They’re responsible of take one of the most incredibles matches around the world and make a
disaster of who have the guilty: the police, the River’s administration, the president Macri or even
that Boca have the guilty because their bus was traveling with the colours and the symbol of the club.

Today, the CONMEBOL post a release about this situation, and the match probably can be
play in a neutral place, but this doesn’t solve the “real” problem that takes away the football
from the families. The violence is now a reality, and the only solution is that the clubs cut the
links with the hooligans and make a better planification with the dates of the matches working
with the social department of the club.

  1. This was supposed to be the great match of the year but instead it turned out to be a shame for every football fan that was looking forward to watch it. I'm strongly against of River's hooligans behaviour but I still want it to be played, hopefully in other country but with people in the stands.
